Hi, I'm Pragati Nautiyal.
I'm an IAS officer of the 2024 batch. I secured All India Rank 76 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2023.
I completed my Bachelors in Economics from Miranda House in 2020 and my Masters from the Delhi School of Economics in 2022. I worked in the domains of consulting and finance before pursuing CSE. I was fortunate enough to clear the Exam in my first attempt.
When I started preparing for the Exam, I referred to the blogs of those who had cleared the exam before me with Economics as an Optional. Their insights and selfless sharing of study material helped me immensely. I combined their takeaways with my experience as a student of Economics to craft my own strategy.
In hopes of continuing the same cycle of virtue, this blog records my preparation strategy and the notes I made during the process. Feel free to use the aspects that you find useful, and alter or improve upon those that you think can be optimized further. The end goal remains to make Economics as an optional more accessible for all.
Thanks!
